Java AI Technologies
A presentation on the different Java artificial intelligence frameworks that I gave 4/8/2008 at the at the April 2008 meeting. The monthly meetings are held at the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. The presentation focused on JOONE, but also contained demos of JESS and a brief overview of JGAP. Two JOONE code examples were presented: XOR and RJUG Attendance Predictor (requires joone-engine.jar).
Optical Character Recognition using Artificial Neural Networks
A presentation on the use of Artificial Neural Networks in the field of Optical Character Recognition that I gave on 2/18/2008 for my Intro to Artificial Intelligence class. It was a summary of my class research where I surveyed four techniques OCR techniques which utilized ANNs.

Automatic Image Resizing
A presentation on Automatic Image Resizing that I gave on 10/30/2007 for my Intro to Computer Vision class. It was a summary of my class project where I implemented a dynamic programming solution for seam carving.
Selenium: Automated Testing of Web Apps
A presentation on Selenium that I gave at the Rochester Java User's Group at the September 2007 meeting. The monthly meetings are held at the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences.
